You will not be able to put it down. It draws you in. My daughter suggested I read it. Thank you! its on Kindle, or directly on Amazon.
The main character Emma is a cynical, narcissistic, selfish, self absorbed, addicted actress, with a flawed personality, who is battling her addiction, as well as her resistance to those who want to help her.
Now I’m no literary critic, but I can say that it gives a glimpse into the life of an addict, but also looks at coping with life and its impact on us, on belonging, purpose, family and meaning. It gives us a glimpse of how a high functioning intelligent person gets addicted.
Whenever it plays again, I will be first in line to watch it.
